Understanding NDIS Transport
NDIS transport funding enables participants to access the community for activities, work, and study when they are unable to use public transport without substantial difficulty due to their disability. We provide the physical assistance and companion driving required to meet these goals safely.
Who Is Eligible?
NDIS participants who cannot travel independently may be eligible for transport funding. This generally applies if you cannot use public transport and need assistance to participate in community, social, economic, and daily life activities.
Funding & Levels
Level 1
For participants who are not working or studying but want to enhance community participation.
Level 2
For participants working or studying part-time (up to 15 hours a week), or attending day programs.
Level 3
For participants working, looking for work, or studying at least 15 hours a week.

NDIS Transport FAQ
Can I use my Core Funding for transport?
Yes, you can often use 'Assistance with Social and Community Participation' funds from your Core budget to pay a support worker to drive you or accompany you on public transport.
We charge based on NDIS price guide rates for support worker time and a per-kilometre rate for vehicle usage, agreed upon in your service agreement.
